This artwork by Eugen von Blaas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2021. In the European & British Art auction, the work No Love Without Envy sold for GBP 438,500.00 (€ 514,232.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 250,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Eugen von Blaas; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A Maiden With A Basket Of Roses sold at auction in February 2019 with the realized price of USD 615,000.00 (€ 540,469.29).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugen von Blaas erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion European & British Art wurde die Arbeit No Love Without Envy für GBP 438.500,00 (€ 514.232,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 250.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Eugen von Blaas; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A Maiden With A Basket Of Roses im Februar 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 615.000,00 (€ 540.469,29).
