Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Sunset over the coast by Eugen Dücker was worth GBP 20,250.00 (€ 23,775.41) to a buyer in November 2021. This price was achieved in the auction British and European Art, including works from L'École de Paris, The Jewish Artists at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Eugen Dücker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moonrise in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 66,000.00 (€ 97,940.68).

Die Arbeit Sunset over the coast von Eugen Dücker war einem Käufer im November 2021 GBP 20.250,00 (€ 23.775,41) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion British and European Art, including works from L'École de Paris, The Jewish Artists bei Bonhams in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugen Dücker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moonrise im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 66.000,00 (€ 97.940,68).
