Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work The antiquarian by Ettore Forti. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 24,466.77) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Ettore Forti have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2003 the work At the Fruit Sellers was auctioned for USD 53,775.00 (€ 46,321.82).

Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The antiquarian von Ettore Forti zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 24.466,77) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ettore Forti konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2003 die Arbeit At the Fruit Sellers für USD 53.775,00 (€ 46.321,82) versteigert.
