Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Toro by Ettore Forti for EUR 1,488.00. This price was achieved in the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO at Christies in Rome and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ettore Forti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At the Fruit Sellers in October 2003 with an auction result of USD 53,775.00 (€ 46,321.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Toro von Ettore Forti für EUR 1.488,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ettore Forti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit At the Fruit Sellers im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 53.775,00 (€ 46.321,82).
