A top price for Ettore Forti - as previously expected
In October 2003 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Afternoon at the Jewelry Shop by Ettore Forti. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 53,775.00 (€ 46,321.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Afternoon at the Jewelry Shop is the most expensive artwork by Ettore Forti that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Afternoon at the Jewelry Shop von Ettore Forti zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 53.775,00 (€ 46.321,82) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
