Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Time Warp Series by Etsu Egami was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 240,000.00 (€ 29,947.07), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Etsu Egami have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rainbow in April this year with an auction result of HKD 264,000.00 (€ 269,595.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Time Warp Series von Etsu Egami wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 240.000,00 (€ 29.947,07) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Etsu Egami auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rainbow im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 264.000,00 (€ 269.595,65).
