Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Komposition med sju vaser" by Esaias Thorén was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 32,000.00 (€ 2,757.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Esaias Thorén achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Sjöman" in December 2017 with an auction result of SEK 900,000.00 (€ 91,557.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Komposition med sju vaser" von Esaias Thorén kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 32.000,00 (€ 2.757,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Esaias Thorén erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Sjöman" im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 900.000,00 (€ 91.557,15).
