Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work "Flickan och fjärilarna" by Esaias Thorén for SEK 44,000.00 (€ 3,791.25). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art + Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Esaias Thorén achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Sjöman" in December 2017 with an auction result of SEK 900,000.00 (€ 91,557.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Flickan och fjärilarna" von Esaias Thorén für SEK 44.000,00 (€ 3.791,25) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Esaias Thorén erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Sjöman" im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 900.000,00 (€ 91.557,15).
