Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Keyhole 6 - 2012 by Erwin Olaf was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in October last year. The price achieved of EUR 5,248.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Erwin Olaf have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Hallway from Hope in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 34,916.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Keyhole 6 - 2012 von Erwin Olaf kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.248,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erwin Olaf auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Hallway from Hope im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 34.916,20).
