The work 'A Wheedler' by Erskine Nicol was worth GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,991.19) to a buyer in March 2021. This price was achieved in the auction British and European Art at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erskine Nicol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Salmon Fishing in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,635.25).
