In the Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations auction, the work Dayak girl performing Hornbill dance sold for EUR 5,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ernst Agerbeek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Chinese barber's shop in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,074.87).
