When the work Revolution, Loi des suspects (2 Arbeiten) by Ernesto Tatafiore was auctioned at VAN HAM in June 2015, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 600.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at EUR 2,083.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ernesto Tatafiore; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Oval sold at auction in April 2006 with the realized price of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,771.10).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Revolution, Loi des suspects (2 Arbeiten) von Ernesto Tatafiore im Juni 2015 bei VAN HAM versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 600,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 2.083,00 mehr als dreimal so hoch. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ernesto Tatafiore; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Oval im April 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.771,10).
