However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ernesto Tatafiore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Oval, which sold at auction in April 2006 for GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,771.10).

Die Arbeit Masaniello a Napoli von Ernesto Tatafiore kam im Juni 2014 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.200,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Ernesto Tatafiore mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Oval beobachtet, die im April 2006 für GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.771,10) versteigert wurde.
