Artwork auctioned at six times the pre-set estimate
The work Historia by Ernesto Tatafiore was worth EUR 2,083.00 to a buyer in June 2015. This price was achieved in the auction ACHENBACH Art Auction at VAN HAM and exceeded the previously set estimate of EUR 300.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ernesto Tatafiore; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Oval sold at auction in April 2006 with the realized price of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,771.10).
