Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work 'Primadonnan' by Erland Cullberg. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 3,500.00 (€ 296.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erland Cullberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2013 with an auction result of SEK 36,000.00 (€ 4,185.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Primadonnan' von Erland Cullberg zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 3.500,00 (€ 296,41) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erland Cullberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 36.000,00 (€ 4.185,40).
