The work Hibiscus (New Year'S Greeting) by Erik Andriesse was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2013. The result of EUR 2,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erik Andriesse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giraf en springbok in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Hibiscus (New Year'S Greeting) von Erik Andriesse wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erik Andriesse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giraf en springbok im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
