It achieved a price of EUR 25,200.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40 %. Other works by Erik Andriesse have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 47,500.00 in October 2021 for the work Giraf en springbok.

Die Arbeit Zonnebloemen (El Loco) (Sunflowers (El Loco)) von Erik Andriesse wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 25.200,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40 %. Andere Arbeiten von Erik Andriesse haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00 im Oktober 2021 für die Arbeit Giraf en springbok beobachtet.
