This artwork by Erik Andriesse achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2010. In the Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations auction, the work Amaryllises - a triptych sold for EUR 15,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Erik Andriesse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Giraf en springbok, which sold at auction in October 2021 for EUR 47,500.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Erik Andriesse erzielte im September 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations wurde die Arbeit Amaryllises - a triptych für EUR 15.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Erik Andriesse mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Giraf en springbok beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für EUR 47.500,00 versteigert wurde.
