In the Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations auction, the work Amarylisses sold for EUR 6,875.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Erik Andriesse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Giraf en springbok in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Erik Andriesse erzielte im September 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations wurde die Arbeit Amarylisses für EUR 6.875,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erik Andriesse auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Giraf en springbok im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
