In the Un oeil à part : Collections d'un esprit libre auction, the work CONSOLE 'DOGUE', MODÈLE CRÉÉ EN 2000 sold for EUR 10,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Éric Schmitt; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot CONSOLE 'ONZE', MODÈLE CRÉÉ EN 2000 sold at auction in December 2019 with the realized price of EUR 15,000.00.
