The work Three Studies For Sculpture by Eric Gill was worth GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,123.16) to a buyer in November 2016. This price was achieved in the auction Day Auction at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eric Gill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work St Joan of Arc in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,210,500.00 (€ 3,116,777.25).
