Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,595.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ercole Bazzicaluva - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cavalier Demandant Son Chemin Dans Un Paysage, La Ville De Florence À L'Arrière-Plan, which sold at auction in October 2013 for EUR 3,250.00.

Die Arbeit Two figures in a landscape, a church beyond von Ercole Bazzicaluva kam im Dezember 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.595,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ercole Bazzicaluva mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cavalier Demandant Son Chemin Dans Un Paysage, La Ville De Florence À L'Arrière-Plan beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für EUR 3.250,00 versteigert wurde.
