Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction The Discerning Eye: Property from the Collection of Eric Franck, Part I, which included the work 'Palermo, Coming Out Of The Football Stadium', 1961 by Enzo Sellerio. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,440.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Enzo Sellerio have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2012 the work Palermo, Fucilazione alla Kalsa (Palermo, Shooting the Kalsa), 1960 was auctioned for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,095.60).

Im Mai 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Discerning Eye: Property from the Collection of Eric Franck, Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Palermo, Coming Out Of The Football Stadium', 1961 von Enzo Sellerio zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.440,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Enzo Sellerio konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2012 die Arbeit Palermo, Fucilazione alla Kalsa (Palermo, Shooting the Kalsa), 1960 für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.095,60) versteigert.
