Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Montelepre', 1958 by Enzo Sellerio was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,440.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Enzo Sellerio have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2012 the work Palermo, Fucilazione alla Kalsa (Palermo, Shooting the Kalsa), 1960 was auctioned for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,095.60).

Die Arbeit 'Montelepre', 1958 von Enzo Sellerio kam im Mai 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.440,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Enzo Sellerio konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2012 die Arbeit Palermo, Fucilazione alla Kalsa (Palermo, Shooting the Kalsa), 1960 für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.095,60) versteigert.
