Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Downing tools before lunch by Enrique Serra y Auque for GBP 176.25 (€ 257.32). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enrique Serra y Auque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish on The Terrace in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 205,823.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Downing tools before lunch von Enrique Serra y Auque für GBP 176,25 (€ 257,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00.
