Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wood Rooms by Enrique Martinez Celaya was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,271.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Enrique Martinez Celaya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Beautiful Life in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 44,599.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
