In February this year Phillips in an online auction held the auction What Now?: Online Auction, which included the work Neo-Jomon: Square Face by En Iwamura. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,753.55), 37% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by En Iwamura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Neo-Jomon: Wild Hair (After Quarantine) in May last year with an auction result of USD 81,900.00 (€ 76,320.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 37 % übertroffen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion What Now?: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Neo-Jomon: Square Face von En Iwamura zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 47.880,00 (€ 5.753,55) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von En Iwamura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Neo-Jomon: Wild Hair (After Quarantine) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 76.320,94).
