Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Neo Jomon - Green Face by En Iwamura for GBP 6,350.00 (€ 7,314.96). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by En Iwamura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Neo-Jomon: Wild Hair (After Quarantine) in May last year with an auction result of USD 81,900.00 (€ 76,320.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Neo Jomon - Green Face von En Iwamura für GBP 6.350,00 (€ 7.314,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von En Iwamura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Neo-Jomon: Wild Hair (After Quarantine) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 76.320,94).
