The work Poem by Dufu in Cursive Script by Emperor Kangxi was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 102,000.00 (€ 9,891.56), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emperor Kangxi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 3,068,000.00 (€ 345,461.35).

Die Arbeit Poem by Dufu in Cursive Script von Emperor Kangxi wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 9.891,56) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emperor Kangxi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.068.000,00 (€ 345.461,35).
