Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven-Character Couplet in Regular Script by Emperor Guangxu was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 92,000.00 (€ 9,471.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emperor Guangxu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 68,511.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet in Regular Script von Emperor Guangxu kam im Oktober 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 92.000,00 (€ 9.471,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emperor Guangxu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 68.511,93).
