The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,379.02) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilios Prosalentis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek Greek Vessels On Choppy Waters in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 58,100.00 (€ 74,069.29).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.379,02) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilios Prosalentis erzielen.
