A top price for Emilios Prosalentis - as previously expected
In April 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek Greek Vessels On Choppy Waters by Emilios Prosalentis. The price achieved of GBP 58,100.00 (€ 74,069.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Greek Greek Vessels On Choppy Waters is the most expensive artwork by Emilios Prosalentis that we have observed at auctions so far.
