Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Curated Milan, which included the work Spagna by Emilio Vedova. The price achieved of EUR 6,930.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Vedova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ciclo 61/62 N.2 in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 776,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Curated Milan durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spagna von Emilio Vedova zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.930,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Vedova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ciclo 61/62 N.2 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 776.750,00.
