Auction result misses estimated price range
In October last year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Emilio Sánchez for USD 12,600.00 (€ 12,683.71). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emilio Sánchez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sin título, which sold at auction in July 2021 for USD 37,800.00 (€ 31,861.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Emilio Sánchez für USD 12.600,00 (€ 12.683,71) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Emilio Sánchez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sin título beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für USD 37.800,00 (€ 31.861,09) versteigert wurde.
