Auction result well in line with expectations
The work New Skyscraper by Emilio Sánchez was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,236.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Emilio Sánchez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sin título in July 2021 with an auction result of USD 37,800.00 (€ 31,861.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit New Skyscraper von Emilio Sánchez kam im August 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.236,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
