Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2009 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sotto Forza by Emilio Isgrò. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,125.00 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Emilio Isgrò have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Telex G 6 in May 2016 with an auction result of EUR 71,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2009 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sotto Forza von Emilio Isgrò zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.125,00 und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emilio Isgrò auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Telex G 6 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 71.250,00.
