Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Portrait Au Deshabillé by Emilio Boggio. The price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 25,274.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emilio Boggio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Lecture, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 92,500.00 (€ 64,343.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Au Deshabillé von Emilio Boggio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 25.274,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Emilio Boggio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Lecture beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 92.500,00 (€ 64.343,35) versteigert wurde.
