Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Emilio Boggio (1857-1920) by Emilio Boggio was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,817.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emilio Boggio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Lecture, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 92,500.00 (€ 64,343.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Emilio Boggio (1857-1920) von Emilio Boggio kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.817,65) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Emilio Boggio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Lecture beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 92.500,00 (€ 64.343,35) versteigert wurde.
