Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Pharoah's Gift; The Queen's Offering by Émile-Louis Picault was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 27,598.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Émile-Louis Picault have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Priest And The Scribe in April 2020 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 143,792.79).

Die Arbeit The Pharoah's Gift; The Queen's Offering von Émile-Louis Picault kam im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 27.598,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
