Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,614.79) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Émile-Louis Picault have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Priest And The Scribe in April 2020 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 143,792.79).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 24.000,00 (€ 35.614,79) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Émile-Louis Picault auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Priest And The Scribe im April 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 143.792,79).
