Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait De Jeune Fille by Émile Friant for USD 8,820.00 (€ 7,572.77). This price was achieved in the auction European Paintings, Drawings & Sculptures at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Émile Friant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Political Discussion in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 212,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait De Jeune Fille von Émile Friant für USD 8.820,00 (€ 7.572,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Paintings, Drawings & Sculptures bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Émile Friant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Political Discussion im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 212.500,00.
