Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art, Including Property from The Forbes Collection: The Panorama of Champigny, which included the work Beauty Unmasked by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,703.44). Admittedly, works by Emile Eisman-Semenowsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,422.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art, Including Property from The Forbes Collection: The Panorama of Champigny durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beauty Unmasked von Emile Eisman-Semenowsky zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.703,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emile Eisman-Semenowsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of A Woman In A White Head Scarf; And Portrait of A Woman In A Red Tunic With Gold Trim im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.422,19).
