The work Le Cirque Royal by Emile Blondel was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in London in April 2004. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,031.50 (€ 1,825.16), 69% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emile Blondel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rue Chevoleau de la Barre Montmarte, which sold at auction in September 2007 for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,714.19).

Die Arbeit Le Cirque Royal von Emile Blondel wurde im April 2004 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.031,50 (€ 1.825,16) und damit 69% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Emile Blondel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rue Chevoleau de la Barre Montmarte beobachtet, die im September 2007 für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.714,19) versteigert wurde.
