Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Strolling on a summer's day by Emile Blondel was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,519.69) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emile Blondel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rue Chevoleau de la Barre Montmarte, which sold at auction in September 2007 for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,714.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Strolling on a summer's day von Emile Blondel kam im Juni 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.057,50 (€ 1.519,69) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Emile Blondel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rue Chevoleau de la Barre Montmarte beobachtet, die im September 2007 für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.714,19) versteigert wurde.
