Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Christies in New York held the auction American Art Online, which included the work Motif No. 1, Rockport by Emile Albert Gruppe. It changed hands for a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,408.83) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emile Albert Gruppe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunny Morning Gloucester, which sold at auction in October 2000 for USD 19,975.00 (€ 23,538.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Motif No. 1, Rockport von Emile Albert Gruppe zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.408,83) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Emile Albert Gruppe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunny Morning Gloucester beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für USD 19.975,00 (€ 23.538,77) versteigert wurde.
