Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Lake Como 16 x 20 in. framed 22 x 26 in. by Emile Albert Gruppe for USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,310.99). This price was achieved in the auction California and Western Art Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emile Albert Gruppe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunny Morning Gloucester in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 19,975.00 (€ 23,538.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Lake Como 16 x 20 in. framed 22 x 26 in. von Emile Albert Gruppe für USD 1.402,50 (€ 1.310,99) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emile Albert Gruppe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunny Morning Gloucester im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.975,00 (€ 23.538,77).
