(33.7cm. x 35cm.) including margin; the other with a young girl seated below a cluster of trees playing a Biwa, pencil signed and numbered 60/75 -- 14¼in .x 11½in. (36.2cm. x 29.2cm.) including margin, mounted, framed and glazed. (2)

Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Unknown by Elyse Ashe Lord for GBP 275.00 (€ 349.81). This price was achieved in the auction Chinese & Japanese Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elyse Ashe Lord - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Japanese deity rising to the sky, which sold at auction in September 2014 for GBP 750.00 (€ 963.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Unknown von Elyse Ashe Lord für GBP 275,00 (€ 349,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Chinese & Japanese Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Elyse Ashe Lord mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Japanese deity rising to the sky beobachtet, die im September 2014 für GBP 750,00 (€ 963,34) versteigert wurde.
