Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Else Alfelt was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2000. It changed hands for a price of NLG 1,989.34 (€ 874.44) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of NLG 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Else Alfelt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountains, c in March this year with an auction result of DKK 70,000.00 (€ 9,393.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Else Alfelt kam im Juli 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von NLG 1.989,34 (€ 874,44) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von NLG 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Else Alfelt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountains, c im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 70.000,00 (€ 9.393,86).
