Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Det yderste land” (The Farthest Land) by Else Alfelt for DKK 10,500.00 (€ 1,408.61). This price was achieved in the auction CoBrA at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Else Alfelt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountains, c in March this year with an auction result of DKK 70,000.00 (€ 9,393.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Det yderste land” (The Farthest Land) von Else Alfelt für DKK 10.500,00 (€ 1.408,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion CoBrA bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Else Alfelt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountains, c im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 70.000,00 (€ 9.393,86).
