Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Elsbeth Juda could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Made In Britain auction, the work Winston Churchill, Chartwell, Kent, October 1954 changed hands for GBP 938.00 (€ 1,141.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elsbeth Juda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Henry Moore In His Studio At Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, Working On 'King And Queen', 1953, which sold at auction in September 2017 for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,836.28).
